Laporte signs his transfer contract to the Saudi club Al-Nasr

Al-Nassr Club Secures Spanish Defender Aymeric Laporte's Signature in a Summer Transfer

In a Wednesday evening announcement, Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr completed the signing of Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City during the current summer transfer window. Esteemed journalist Santi Ona, specializing in player transfers, tweeted from his personal account, "Aymeric Laporte has signed his contract with Al-Nassr... The agreement runs until June 2026."

Renowned player and coach transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also took to Twitter, stating, "Aymeric Laporte has successfully passed his medical in Dubai as a new player for Al-Nassr today, Wednesday." He added, "Laporte is now traveling to Riyadh after all parties agreed on a three-year contract, with all the necessary documents signed."

Al-Nassr aims to bolster their defensive line before the end of the summer transfer period, following a stumbling start in the Saudi Pro League competition. The reigning champions of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup for Clubs face the setback of losing their opening matches against Al-Ittihad with a score of 2-1 and Al-Taawoun with a score of 2-0.
